The Challenge
Printable Technologies was experiencing some specific pain points with their existing SaaS model: they needed to increase bandwidth so that more users could tap the system at the same time. Additionally, they had some reporting challenges: more executives were demanding more insight into the platform and their current reporting mechanisms were inefficient, requiring too much expertise from the executives and too much time from the technicians.
The Solution
First off, Agile IT partnered with Printable Technologies' lead software architect, Bayard Woodworth. "Agile IT came up to speed on our situation in minutes. Nothing had to be explained twice," says Woodworth. The foundation of Agile IT's solution was database optimization, an area in which Agile IT has few if any equals.
"It was obvious that they have considerable expertise in the database arena. We were after Agile IT's database optimization know-how," adds Woodworth. Work began immediately and within weeks, Printable Technologies was seeing some major improvements.
The Result

"The number of possible concurrent users on our SaaS system was doubled, and the Performance Intelligence tool that our company executives use to judge the performance of the database reported a two-fold increase in efficiency...
