AgileDataCenter: Dedicated Server Environments

At some point, most businesses find themselves running out of computing resources. As applications get bigger and more memory and processor hungry, the only solution until fairly recently was to invest in additional or more powerful servers and on-premises data centers.

Although this solution provides the resources you need, when you need them, it is both costly and wasteful. You may only need the extra resources for a specific project, such as the development of a new application. Once you have completed the project, the extra server in which you invested so heavily sits there unused and gathering dust.

By leveraging today’s technologies like virtualization and Cloud computing, AgileDataCenter provides you a modern, agile, data center – on-site or in the Microsoft Cloud – that can totally transform your IT infrastructure and empower your business.

AgileDataCenter Dedicated Server Environments are designed to make it dramatically faster and easier to move the contents of your server to new hardware—whether on-site or in the Cloud—and to maximize your existing server(s) as you grow.

AgileDataCenter: Dedicated Servers

Exchange Server 2013

Installing and configuring Exchange Server on-premises is a technically challenging job which requires a deep knowledge of enterprise messaging systems. With Microsoft Gold competencies in Management and Virtualization, Server Platform and Messaging, Agile ITs Unified Messaging experts have all the knowledge and experience required to provision an on-site Exchange 2013 server and provide training for your administrators.

Having set up your new Exchange Server, Agile IT can safely and seamlessly migrate your existing mail users from your legacy email system to Exchange.

Windows Server 2012 with Virtualization (Hyper-V)

If you’re still running Windows Server 2003, time is running out. Windows Server 2003 will reach End of Support (EOS) on June 14 2015. Now is the time to plan that upgrade to Windows Server 2012 and Agile IT can help you get the most out of Windows Server 2012.

Our Virtualization Experts can migrate your existing physical or virtual servers onto Windows Server 2012 to totally transform your IT infrastructure, reduce costs and improve application speed and stability.

Agile IT can provision standard physical or virtual servers within the AgileDataCenter On Site Cloud or Microsoft Hosted cloud environment. This will allow you to harness the power and benefits of cloud computing, such as scalability and flexibility while managing costs more effectively.

AgileDataCenter Standard Server deployment covers physical and virtual Windows 2012 R2 Servers running integrated Windows services such as file, print server, ADFS, network services (DNS/DHCP), Active Directory (AD) and simple Hyper-V.

As with standard servers, Agile IT can provision advanced physical or virtual servers within the AgileDataCenter On Site Cloud or Microsoft Hosted cloud environment.

AgileDataCenter Advanced Server deployment covers physical and virtual servers running Hyper-V clusters, as well as Line of Business (LOB) software such as accounting, eCommerce, email, database, or other non-core applications and services.

Having provisioned the server(s) and virtual machine(s), AgileDataCenter Physical to Virtual (P2V) and Virtual to Virtual (V2V) Machine migrations cover moving existing physical and virtual servers to the on-site data center environment. This will allow you to consolidate your server infrastructure, avoid buying new hardware and allow for conversion between different virtual machine formats, e.g. VMWare to Hyper-V.

Agile IT will:

  • Assess the Server to be moved
  • Design the best migration architecture depending on the device and business contraints
  • Schedule and manage the migration downtime window
  • Migrate the VM to the new on-site server
  • Test accessibility and functionality of the VM

AgileDataCenter: Dedicated Server Environments

AgileDataCenter On-Site Cloud

An AgileDataCenter On-Site Cloud is the ideal solution for customers who want to utilize their existing data center hardware and infrastructure to provide virtual servers, storage and networking devices in a dedicated environment. You still retain scalability and flexibility and can add new virtual servers at any time depending on your needs.

As your business grows and your needs change, you can add to your On-Site Cloud environment or transition – partially or totally – to the Microsoft Hosted Cloud.

AgileDataCenter Microsoft Hosted Cloud (Azure)

AgileDataCenter Microsoft Hosted Cloud is ideal for customers looking to reduce their IT footprint, who do not want to invest in on premise servers and infrastructure or who need reliable remote access to line of business (LOB) applications via the internet. It provides servers, storage and networking devices hosted in the Microsoft Cloud, with the ability to increase or reduce resources as your needs fluctuate. You retain control over the application and the resources, but the ‘hardware’ is provided and managed by Microsoft, making it tremendously cost-effective.

Your AgileDataCenter Microsoft Hosted Cloud can be based in the location nearest to you – whether on the East Coast, West Coast or both – to improve speed of access. And with built-in geo-redundancy, your data is replicated to multiple data centers in each region to ensure maximum availability and minimum downtime.

AgileDataCenter Hybrid Cloud

An AgileDataCenter Hybrid Cloud is the ideal solution for customers who want to utilize their existing data center hardware and infrastructure and who wish to expand without increasing their IT footprint. AgileDataCenter Hybrid Cloud is perhaps the ultimate in control, flexibility, scalability and agility.

AgileDataCenter Hybrid Cloud enables services to be deployed in your On-Site Cloud when internal capacity is available, but moved to a Microsoft Hosted Cloud if you need extra resources. It can also provide a greater ROI on your technology investment by both utilizing your existing technology and expanding your data center environment without the need for further capital expenditure.
