In Windows, one can add the DisableServerCheck key in the windows registry to enable a Lync client to connect to an OCS 2007 R2 server.

Do you have any idea how to do the same for Lync 2011 for Mac?

hi.. we are installing reporting  services for SCOM 2012 RC in our NEW Scom server. but the lssas.exe keeps peaking up to 70 to 90 % and stays there for days..

Attempted to Re-install Reporting Services after again. Same issue
SCOM 2010 RC
SQL server 2008 SP1
also updated SQL server SP2. Same issue.

Any ideas of what is going on would be great.

I did some testing with this (Office 365) and the Office part of the installation works fine, but as soon as the installation is done, one gets prompted with either installation of the Sign-In Assistant, or, if already installed, prompted to log on to Office 365 in the Sign-In Assistant. Have you been able to install Office 2010 Pro Plus for Office 365 without getting these prompts? Not getting them would enable this version of Office 2010 to be deployable via MDT and GPOs...

Good solution for setting CertPrincipalName to none - not much security is compromised and you dont have headaches in the future if you decide to change names or their order on certificate in the future. However, it is only important for Windows XP or older - newer OS are fine with any names order on SAN certs. And internal host names should not be on certificate (even if some CA is able to issue certs for private domains that are not publicly registered)  - it only used inside the LAN (as seen in autodiscover files). Only external public CAS names should be there. So no internal.domain.local, just mail.mycomany.com and autodiscover.mycompany.com (and legacy, if needed. Works fine for me.

Exactly what is this special header? And do you know if its the same with Lync?
