Monitoring SharePoint 2010 from System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2012

When configuring my first SharePoint 2010 Server Farm with System Center Operations Manger (SCOM) 2012, I received this error while running the “Configure SharePoint Management Pack” as indicated in the MP Guide.

The Event Policy for the process has detected errors in the output. The ‘StdErr’ policy expression matched the following output:

Exception calling “ImportManagementPack” with “1” argument(s): “This method from the System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 SDK is not supported to work with System Center Operations Manager 2012. Please migrate to the System Center Operations Manager 2012 SDK.”
